**About The Position**

Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, you will complete an Apprenticeship and attain a cert 3 Trade Qualification as an Electrical worker’s license and be working towards Cert 4 instrumentation, whilst adhering to the legislative and organisation OHS&E requirements. This position of E & I apprentice will be mentored by the E & I technicians, will report to Maintenance Supervisor

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Receive training towards testing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical circuits, wiring, diagnoses and repair of electrical faults using problem solving techniques.
- Provide electrical preventative maintenance.
- Review wiring diagrams and blueprints to determine sequences and methods of operation.
- Lean safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- To fill in daily work records, machine logbooks and preventative maintenance work sheets.
- Complete a Safety Take 5 check sheet for each task undertaken and JSA as required.
- Ability to learn and comply with relevant company, national and state policies, codes of practice, regulations, and laws.
- Become competent in operating an EWP, Forklift etc.
- Attend all TAFE lectures, successfully complete all training/unit modules, and maintain current knowledge of applicable standard, legislation, codes of practice and product/process developments.
- Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work.

**About You**
- Completion of year 10.
- Acceptance into a Registered Training Organisation.
- Completion of a pre-apprenticeship (Desirable).
- Ability to perform physical tasks of the role including bending, lifting and carrying, manual labor and use of hand and power tools.
- Able to obtain a satisfactory national security clearance.
- Valid Australian Working Visa
- Pre-employment aptitude testing
