**Our role**:
The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality by analysing requirements, designing and executing test cases, and identifying defects. They collaborate with stakeholders, perform manual and automated testing, document results, and report defects, ensuring the software meets business and technical specifications.
The Test Analyst reports to the Development Manager and has no people management responsibilities.
**A day in your role**:
- Develop and maintain traceability documentation and test effort estimates
- Design and execute high-quality test plans (functional, non-functional, automated, and manual)
- Prepare test datasets and analyse test results, diagnosing and documenting defects
- Manage defects in an issue tracking system with full traceability to requirements
- Maintain integrity of the test environment, including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and rollbacks
- Participate in customer and internal workshops, providing testing expertise and support
- Track and report on testing progress against agreed schedules
**Your skills, experience and beyond**:
- 3+ years’ experience in estimating, planning, executing, and reporting on software testing activities.
- Proven ability to design, write, and execute automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript, and ideally experience with Tosca.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.
- Strong skills in creating and running performance tests using JMeter.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, ideally Xray Test Management for Jira.
