Our Company
MacKellar are an industry leader in the mining and civil earthmoving industries with over 50 years’ experience. We supply and maintain a large fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment across Australia and take pride in our people, our safety culture, and maintaining our equipment to a high standard.
Utilize your Trades Assistant experience and provide support and assistance to the trades crew and Supervisors.
About the role
You will play an integral role within our site-based maintenance team, responsible for the safe and efficient running of the yard and operation of machinery. Key duties and responsibilities include;
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment
- Forklift Operations
- Servicing of machinery
- Assist diesel fitters with various duties
- Maintain order and good housekeeping
- Assist and support other team members as required
Your skills and experience
- Drivers Licence
- Forklift High Risk Work Licence (highly regarded)
- Conduct Rigging /Dogging/Lifting Operations RII (highly regarded)
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
