Dental Receptionist

Redgum Periodontics and Implants is a modern specialist periodontal practice dedicated to the care and management of patients with complex dental concerns.

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Front Desk Manager who can facilitate a seamless experience ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations. In this role you will be integral in assisting with all front desk/administrative duties as well as the processing of clinical instruments when required.

At least 1 year of experience in a dental reception role or dental assistant position is preferred.

You will complete a range of varied tasks, including:

- Liaising with patients, dentists, specialists booking appointments and maintaining schedules
- Processing payments and patient billing
- Maintaining patient records and correspondence for reports
- Sterilisation/instrument preparation

To succeed in the position you will have:

- Familiarity with dental terminology and equipment
- Previous experience in dental assisting and in-depth understanding of current infection control policies
- Tech savvy skills
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- A professional work ethic, open minded with a willingness to learn
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Time management skills

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
