**About the role**

Reporting to the Managing Content Editor, you will be working within a team of four editors and two verifiers to ensure that published content meets CHOICE style, standards and user needs across our different platforms.
- Edit content, predominantly for the CHOICE website and magazine, including restructuring, copyfitting and proofreading
- Write headlines, standfirsts, intros, meta descriptions and other bits of creative/functional copy
- Use our content management system to upload, optimise (mobile-first), publish and promote content online
- Use scheduling and workflow processes (we use Trello) to keep across the content pipeline and manage competing deadlines

**About You**

You are a technically savvy wordsmith, as comfortable with the demands and requirements of publishing for the web as you are with copyfitting magazine articles using InDesign.

You have excellent sub-editing skills, you value accuracy and attention to detail, and you’re committed to helping produce the kind of high-quality, rigorous content CHOICE is known for.

You understand best practice writing and SEO for digital (particularly mobile), and have experience using InDesign, content management systems (Sitecore or Kentico preferred), and tools such as Trello and Slack.

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced editorial environment that can require you to navigate shifting priorities and competing deadlines.

You enjoy working collaboratively when required, and seek to make connections and communicate effectively in the new hybrid workplace.
