**BMD Ready trade experience program**

At BMD, we’re paving pathways for school-leavers to begin a rewarding career in the civil construction industry with a five-week program designed for you to have a go and see if it’s right for you.

You’ll spend the first two weeks of the BMD Ready program learning the basics of the civil construction industry as well as life skills, including:

- Time management
- Financial literacy
- Nutrition
- Workplace fitness
- Sleep health
- Interpersonal skills
- Personal development.

After you complete your two weeks of classroom learning, you’ll be paid to spend three weeks doing practical and structured workplace learning. During these three weeks, you’ll be supported to get hands-on and see what civil construction trades actually do, as well as learn about all of the great career pathways that are available to you at BMD.

- Self-development - Your two weeks of classroom learning will equip you with key skills and greater confidence in the workforce. During your three weeks of practical learning, you’ll use the latest technology and learn skills to make you more confident in the workplace.

**About you**

You only need three things to be considered for the BMD Ready program:

- A great, can-do attitude
- An Australian Driver’s Licence
- Access to a vehicle.
