If so, this is the perfect role for you Canva’s SEO is world class, and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Global Outreach Lead to manage our internal outreach team as well as external agencies and international contractors. This role is vital in ensuring seamless collaboration and strategic alignment, driving our global outreach efforts, and achieving our ambitious growth goals.- We are looking for someone who understands the principles around data-driven and product-led SEO, is able to understand the big picture plus someone who is excited about getting their hands dirty to really move the needle. You’ll thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and you’re confident in making decisions and tradeoffs backed by data and experience. You have a knack for problem-solving, identifying new opportunities and continuous process improvements.**What you'll do**:

- Define, develop, and oversee the execution of the global outreach strategy
- Lead our internal outreach team, and effectively engage with agencies and international contractors to ensure parity
- Foster strong relationships with all partners to ensure their efforts are aligned with Canva’s brand, message, and goals
- Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of outreach initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results
- Develop and provide training and support to the internal team to improve overall outreach efforts and skills, as well as ensure best practices are shared and implemented consistently
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as brand, product, and design teams, to plan and execute PR-style outreach campaigns
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, best practices, and emerging outreach strategies to continuously innovate and improve our efforts
- Manage budget allocation and advise on resources, ensuring efficient optimization of investments in global outreach initiatives
- Scale and grow the local SEO and outreach team as needed
- Scale and improve existing workflows and processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency

**What we're looking for**:

- A natural leader and communicator, with strong experience managing diverse SEO teams
- A genuine passion for outreach and an understanding of the impact that effective outreach can have on a business's overall success
- A well-rounded SEO that is comfortable working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to monitor, measure, and analyze outreach performance, and use data-driven insights to improve and optimize strategies
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure that all initiatives are executed on time and within budget
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and resourcefulness in addressing challenges and identifying innovative solutions
- You are comfortable with documentation to define outreach strategies and requirements
- Hands-on experience with SEO and web analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Mode, Looker, Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Dragon Metrics, Screamingfrog and Deepcrawl
- Bonus if you are bilingual or multilingual
