About the Role

The role of Front of House Supervisor at The Tops Conference Centre offers a working experience that differs from others. You will work in an environment where you can lead a team and provide a positive experience for the guests who are there to find their adventurous spirit, re-connect with others and learn more about themselves.

On a daily basis, you will work closely to guide and inspire your team, with the support of the Front of House Manager. Together you will ensure guests are provided with a food and beverage service that reflects the highest standards of quality, friendly service and safety for your guests.

You understand that good leadership means working alongside your team and not directing from a distance. If you are very hands-on and active when it comes to leading staff and providing an outstanding food service, we want to hear from you

**Your Contribution**
- Ensure an excellent food experience to our diverse range of guests
- As part of a team, facilitate continuous improvement in customer service and experience
- Provide work directives and leadership for Catering team
- Facilitate the delivery of all specific dietary requirements, within operational parameters, whether they be allergies, intolerances, lifestyle choices or cultural requirements
- Ensure statutory responsibilities are met and effectively liaise with regulatory organisations, food and health professionals as required
- Work effectively to assist Management in meeting budget requirements

What You Bring
- Possess a Hospitality and/or related qualification (or at least five years equivalent experience)
- Skills and experience in leading teams to meet organisational requirements
- Time management skills and the demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team under pressure in a highly time bound environment
- High level of written and verbal communication to effectively engage with stakeholders and employees of all levels of the organisation
- Ability to travel to the work location and be punctual for shifts
- Ability to work required shifts with reasonable flexibility regarding working hours
- Possess a Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
