**Job Description**:

- Physically check the proposed route's last fibre access point to the customer service delivery point. Investigate/walk the proposed route e.g. check FAP, Joint, Port availability, pits or manholes
- Provide a hauling, boring or trenching plan for new cables from the last fibre access point to the customer service delivery point.
- Identify any issues that may cause delays or impact the delivery in some way such as blockages, damaged infrastructure and infrastructure shortfalls within the Telstra network and/or at the customer/end user’s premises.
- Inspection of customer premises to provide fibre hauling plan from lead-in to customer service delivery point.
- Visual inspection of lead-in conduit to confirm customer site building entry point and lead-in conduit ownership (e.g. Telstra, 3PPP, NBN) by consulting with the property owner/manager/developer.
- Identify path, cables and details for new installs. Includes underfloor, in-ceiling cavity, general cavities, cable tray, catenary wire, pipe, core bore, penetrations, and other cable housing infrastructure and shortfalls resulting in WCC quote
- Identify fibre termination locations, rack space, rack ownership and available power.
- Identify existing switches, available ports or services in customer premises.
- Identify site hazards and special site conditions/requirements i.e. safety, rail corridors, multiple owners, materials (hazardous)
- Provide a ‘Site Assessment Pack’ detailing their findings, including hauling plan, site photo and WCC quote.
