Tyre Fitter Traineeship

A tyre and battery repair and service workshop, located in Katoomba, who service cars, 4wds, trucks, farming, commercial & earthmoving equipment, currently have an exciting opportunity for a trainee to join their team.

As a trainee you will learn to perform a range of tasks on tyres in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

Tasks may include:

- inspect, repair and refit light, heavy and industrial vehicle tyres and tubs
- inspect test and service batteries
- use and maintain tools and equipment in the workplace
- balance wheels and tyres

You will also work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate II Automotive tyre Servicing Technology.

Hours are generally 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

To be considered for this position you must have a current drivers licence (provisional or above - manual preferred), be willing to learn, able to follow instruction, be reliable, have good communication skills and be committed to a traineeship.
