Incorporated in 1955, the Mullum Co-Op was initially created to encourage farmers (including livestock, dairy, sugar owners etc) to increase buying power as a collective and build community spirit. Highly regarded as an organization for the people, the Co-Op is a rural hub for products, advice and community. 'Growing with you' is our passion, purpose and guiding principle. We offer products and advice to large and small-scale farmers and home growers. We help build and share an eco-culture that promotes local and ethical practices.

A position has become available for a Full Time Retail Assistant in our rural Mullumbimby hub.

This position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service. Working with a variety of team members and customers, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid, long-term relationships. Ideally from a rural background, you will enjoy helping the community grow their knowledge in agriculture from large farms to small backyard gardens.
- A knowledge of the rural agriculture industry and products and their use including livestock, pasture and general farming knowledge.
- Natural customer relations and communications skills.
- Ability to lead and work productively in a small team.
- Forklift & current drivers licence desirable.

**Salary**: $23.90 - $31.95 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
