**What you'll be doing**

Routine clinical service responsibilities will be appropriate to the position. There is a requirement to undertake intermittent clinical duty coverage (outpatient and/or inpatient) of other medical oncology fellows or trainees who are absent due to leave or sickness.

This position is non-Award and attracts a Stipend of 145K inclusive of on-costs.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Completed medical oncology advanced training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (4th year or above).
- Demonstrated ability to be able to deliver a clinical or research goal or agenda that is achievable within the term of an year of fellowship.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills and judgment and expertise.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, good time management skills and capacity for self-directed learning.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated capacity to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated research track record and interest in a Higher Degree qualification eg PhD.
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia and incorporating the values in medical practice, patient care, teaching, research and quality improvement.
