Civil Labourer

**Rokewood Windfarm**

The Golden Plains Wind Farm project involves the establishment of a wind energy facility including wind turbines and associated electrical infrastructure on 16,739 ha to the west, south and southwest of Rokewood - a small rural town in the Shire of Golden Plains; approximately 60km from Geelong

The Project has been through an extensive planning process over the past 3 years and will consist of up to 228 wind turbines.

**The Roles**

The roles available will vary from entry level civil labourers to experienced machine operators and tradesman and we welcome applicants who have a range of experiences, skills and licences.

**Some of the roles available include**:

- Unskilled and skilled labouring including traffic control and general hand duties
- Machine operating including forklift, excavators, rollers
- Trades including welding, boilermaking, concreting,
- Truck driving (MR, HR and MC)

The roster of work will be 14 days on and 7 days off, 12 hour days starting at 6am.

**Preferred licences (aren’t required for all roles)**
- Forklift
- Dogman/Rigger
- MR, HR and MC truck licences
- Traffic control accreditation
- Excavator, skid steer, roller
- Whitecard

**To be successful in these roles you will;**
- Have a valid drivers licence and reliable transportation to travel to Rokewood
- Be reliable and dependable
- Ability to work well within part of a team and follow directions
- Some roles will require ability to work independently
- High regard for safety and ability to follow OHS procedures
- Ability to complete hands-on physical labour
