Cleaning Trainer

**About the role**

This position is vital to our business in supporting our existing and new employees with training and development to see them succeed in the cleaning industry.

Supporting our NSW School sites across the Newcastle/Central Coast region, you will work closely with our cleaning staff and supervisors on their quality cleaning and performance standards, as well as collaborating with the recruitment team to focus on the retention and successful completion of onboarding with new employees.

**Key duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Delivery of training programs to all new cleaners against the quality and performance standards.
- Promoting and monitoring safe work practices.
- Assistance with quality monitoring inspections, site, and work schedules reviews.
- Ongoing training of cleaning in scheduled periodic cleaning tasks to meet contract specification.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a facilities management and/ or cleaning environment preferred.
- The ability to trouble shoot and problem solve on your feet.
- The ability to lead and influence the success of all training requirements of new cleaning employees once the recruitment process is completed.
