Enrolments / Attendance Officer

Sowilo Community High School is seeking an experienced and organised Enrolments/Attendance Officer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will be based in Kelmscott, WA and will be responsible for overseeing student enrolments and attendance management while providing reception and administrative support to the school community.

**What you'll be doing**
- Coordinate the enrolment process for prospective students, including responding to enquiries, maintaining an up to date wait list, scheduling interviews, and student onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrolment records and databases.
- Manage student attendance, including monitoring absences and communicating with parents/guardians
- Follow up on unexplained absences and consult with parents, staff, and external agencies as needed.
- Greet and direct visitors, parents/carers and students at reception.
- Other administrative duties as directed by your team leader.

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative or enrolments role, preferably in an education setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students and parents
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 Office suite and student management systems (e.g. SEQTA)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality customer service
