**Highlighting the importance of this role**

An opportunity exists for Environmental Service Workers to join our team at Oak Towers Aged Care on a Part-time basis, working 30 hours per Fortnight. Our 102-bed service is surrounded by beautiful parklands and located only 9km from Melbourne's CBD.

Joining a supportive and friendly team, you will be responsible for Laundry and Cleaning duties and your day to day tasks will include but not be limited to:

- Completing laundry duties including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding and labelling;
- Distribution of linen and resident clothing while maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment;
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility's residential areas.

**What you can bring to the team**

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and can also work autonomously. You will be passionate about cleaning and laundry duties and committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Working in a fast-pace environment you will have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations will be highly regarded;
- Experience working within the Aged Care industry is desirable but not essential;
- Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning is desirable;
- Current National Police and NDIS Certificate or the ability to obtain.

- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
