**Position Overview**:
As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings for our metal fabrication projects. The role requires proficiency in CAD software, a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**:

- Develop detailed and precise fabrication drawings based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs align with customer requirements and industry standards.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain clear and open communication with the engineering, production, and project management teams.
- Provide updates on the progress of drafting tasks and address any design-related queries.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with the production team to resolve any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to contribute to project discussions and provide drafting insights.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in drafting procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in drafting technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Experience in metal fabrication or a related industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
