**Your opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced AIN to join the team.

Our AIN's are the people who we trust to provide the absolute best quality care to all our residents every day. Regis, along with our residents and their families, appreciate the dedication and hard work required to be a carer and we strive to give you the best opportunity for success in a role with Regis. This role will be in Birkdale with the opportunity of working across our Wynnum site where required.

**Responsibilities include**
- Collaborating with the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and other allied health professionals, to provide holistic and person-centred care, contributing to a positive team culture and effective care coordination.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, including care plans, incident reports, and observations, as per Queensland Health standards and Regis policies.
- Effectively communicating with residents, their families, and the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, to provide updates, report concerns, and ensure continuity of care.

**About you**
- Qualified with a Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum) or currently studying a nursing degree
- Previous placement and/or experience in a personal care role in aged care (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrated ability to work to required resident outcomes
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service through empathy and compassion towards residents. Understanding their emotional needs and providing emotional support to enhance their well-being and comfort.
- Time management and interpersonal skills
