Bechtel has been selected by Western Sydney Airport Co as its Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, New South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.

Bechtel is seeking Civil, Data Science, Law and Construction Management Interns for the Western Sydney Airport Project located in Badgerys Creek, Western Sydney. Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern. This assignment is part-time, one day per week during the university semester and full-time for ten weeks over the Summer.

Our WSA Project Internship is open to all undergraduates in Engineering or Data Science disciplines and Law or Construction Management disciplines. During this time you’ll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience - all while having a real impact on our organization. Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload while ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.
