UGLs heavy maintenance facility based in Bassendean have recently won some wagon build work and we are currently seeking experienced **Welders/Boilermakers **to join the team. These roles will be offered on casual basis with an option to work 8 hour days (38 hours a week) or 10 hour days with 2 hours OT and Saturday work if required and you want it.

**About the Role**

These roles will support with wagon fabrication, bogie repair work and removal and installation of large heavy components from Rolling Stock.
- Stainless to Stainless - PG 90 Degree - Vertical Down Fillet Weld
- Stainless to Stainless - PG45 Degree - Vertical Down Fillet Weld
- Stainless to Carbon - PF90 Degree - Vertical Up Fillet Weld
- Stainless to Carbon - PG90 Degree - Vertical Down Fillet Weld.

**About You**
- Relevant Trade Certificate - Welder
- Stainless flux core Welding experience
- Aluminium Welding experience - MIG up to 30mm in all positions
- Heavy manufacturing experience, ideally previous experience within the rail industry.
- Working on locomotives or rollingstock desirable
- Experience and competent in the use of gantry cranes up to 50t
- Previous experience within a large workshop or heavy maintenance environment.
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work well in a team environment
