**About the job**:
Our “Packing Party” of volunteers started almost 4 years ago and we call this fun bunch a “Party” as sorting through donations creates interesting conversations and laughter as you spend your day with new friends and old.

This team has grown significantly in the last six months so we are now looking for a team leader to fill a full-time position Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm at our warehouse in Warners Bay and take this fabulous team to the next level of growth and efficiency.

At Church 4 Life Charities we are big believers in the power of work to create connection, purpose and hope in people’s lives. We see this play out every day in our volunteer team as lives change while they work to make a difference in the world. Our volunteer team includes a diverse bunch of people including volunteers, Work for the Dole participants, Community Service workers and Work and Development Order volunteers. This group covers all ages and a range of ability challenges. Like any good party, some folk are with us for years and some for a few days. This is a high turn over team and so you will be constantly onboarding and training new team members.

This role includes the option of a generous charity salary sacrifice package giving you tax free income.

**What you will do in this job**:

- Recruit, onboard and train new team members, matching their gifts and abilities with suitable opportunities inside your team or recommending them for other teams
- Lead and motivate the team to reach team goals
- Build a strong and agile team that adapts easily to high turnover of staff and inconsistent workloads
- Be responsible for quality control and WHS
- Liaise with and complete paperwork for various agencies including job networks, Centrelink, Community Services and Service NSW
- Shepherd the team, caring for and encouraging them as people, connecting them to Church 4 Life charity services and support as needed
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
