We have a proud history and place safety in our workplace first. **WHY US?** - Fast-paced where no two days are the same - Opportunity to work with experienced and innovative team - Supportive working environment, focused on professional development - Work that will expand on your knowledge and experience - **_Because while we deliver a lot of chicken we won’t ask you to take a poultry salary. _** **WHY US?** - Fast-paced where no two days are the same - Opportunity to work with experienced and innovative team - Supportive working environment, focused on professional development - Work that will expand on your knowledge and experience - **_Because while we deliver a lot of chicken we won’t ask you to take a poultry salary. _** **Start Times available** - 9am Start - 6/7pm_ - Or_ - 10 am Start - 7/8pm_ **The Opportunity** Pay Rates Full Time $27.32 Base rate Over 38 Hours > $32.78 Over 55 Hours > $40.98 Forklift Operator - Dry Sheds Start Time - 6am - Pick Packing of Hungry Jacks and KFC Dry goods carton orders as per the pick sheet - Loading of finished picks, palletised freight into trailers and truck pans via use of forklift - Coordination of daily activities relative to she smooth operation of the dry sheds Forklift operator - Dry Dock Start Time - 9am (10 hour shift minimum) Start Time - 10am (10 hour shift minimum) - Loading and Unloading of all Dry goods relative to the business via use of forklift - Creation and allocation of Con Notes and Freight Transfer paperwork - Loading and unloading of tautliners, low loaders through to puddle jumpers and MR/LR vehicles Forklift operator/Loader - B Dock (chiller room) Start time - 4am - Locating and allocating relevant stock and picks orders, staging up for dispatch as per run sheet - Staging of freight in correct delivery order to be signed off via freight checkers - Loading truck pans via forklift and electric pallet jack Forklift Operator/Pick Packer - A Dock (receivals - Freezer room) Start Time - 5am Start Time -10am Start time - 12pm Midday - Receivals of chilled and refrigerated freight via use of forklifts form truck pans - Processing of relevant paperwork associated with receival of goods - Pick packing of orders as per required **Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**: - Ensure all trailersand pans/trucks are unloaded in a timely manner so that they meet their next scheduled loading departure schedule. - Ensure all pallets & crates returns are stacked in the correct location and loaded for transport / with pallet docks. - Responsible for the health and safety in each area and to ensure that yourself all employees are compliant with HSE & SOP requirements (safe operation of forklifts as per company SOP). - Ensuring the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) pre-starts checklist are completed with any follow-up actions on faults are reported as required. - Be flexible on Start / Finish and break times, punctuality, and absenteeism matters. - Ensuring resource levels are aligned and managed to the activity and schedules of the dock. - Ensure all customer deliveries are acted on quickly, efficiently and that the customers are treated in a polite professional manner. - Up manage any issues with regards to freight, customer delays / complaints, Damages or delays to supervisor immediately. - Maintain housekeeping: Ensure the dry dock area is maintained in a tidy and organised manner throughout the day and at end of the days shift inclusive of the battery room. - Ensure received freight is staged in the correct manner i.e. same delivery destination is collectively grouped together. - **_Laughing at all the recruitment teams bad jokes_** **To be successful, you will have**: - Previous Forklift experience - FL Forklift ticket - Minimum 2 years experience - Can do attitude and ability to lead a team by example - Strong core understanding of end to end freight carriers - Exceptional work ethic, proven management experience **TO APPLY** If you are looking for an exciting, thought-provoking role within a pro-active Team.
