Maintenance Fitter

Downer's Road Services business unit is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 40,000 km of road. Our Business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country.

An opportunity for a full time experienced and self-motivated **Maintenance Fitter** to work within our asphalt production plant based in Wingfield, South Australia. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be part of a collaborative Production team to ensure that we are delivering the best from our assets and maintaining them for the future.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaker or similar.
- Hands on approach to diagnosing faults and proactively manage breakdowns of equipment or process failures.
- Extensive exposure to fast paced manufacturing plants, exposure within Asphalt manufacturing would be highly regarded.
- Assist in all areas of preventative Maintenance planning and strategy techniques.
- Previous experience working autonomously or with limited supervision in plant maintenance planning function.
- Flexibility surrounding day and night shift work.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and systems with the ability to identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.
