Start Date: URGENT IMMEDIATE START

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour plus superannuation and leave entitlements

Vehicle Allowance: 98c per km

Contract: Permanent Part-Time (Minimum 12 Months)

Days/Hours:

- Roster: Provided 2 months in advance
- Weekly Commitment: 4 to 5 days per week, 25 guaranteed hours, with additional hours as needed
- 2024: Monday to Friday
- 2025: Monday to Friday, plus some weekend shifts

Typical Shifts:

- Weekdays: Mornings (5:30 am - 8 am) and Evenings (4 pm or 5 pm - 8 pm)
- Weekends: 6-hour shifts

About the Family:
Join a friendly and welcoming family with two young boys, aged 11 months and nearly 3 years. Both parents are airport traffic controllers working on rotating rosters, and Mom is returning to work on November 11. The boys are in daycareMonday to Friday, and the family treasures their time together outdoors, riding bikes, and going for walks. The oldest child is energetic and playful, he loves backyard adventures on his bike, slide, and trampoline. The youngest child is curious and active; he enjoys exploring alongside his big brother and is in the crawling stage. He has an allergy to chicken rice wheels but no other known allergies.

What We’re Looking For:
**Responsibilities**:

- Evening Routine: Daycare pick-up at 4:30-5 pm, dinner prep, bath time, pajamas, storytime, and bedtime
- On weekends: Sole care of the children for full day, engaging in activities and creating a stimulating environment for children
- Engaging Playtime: Supervised activities at the family home
- Tidy-Up: Clean up after meals and activities (vacuum or mop as needed)
- Simple Meal Prep for children only: If required; parents are happy to pre-prep meals as needed

Transport:
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (with vehicle allowance provided)

**Requirements**:

- Blue Card / Police Check
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Two professional references
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
