Ventia has a long successful relationship with the Australian Defence Force. Our current long-term contract is to deliver Estate Maintenance and Operations Services, Hospitality and Catering, Fire and Refuelling, Retail Stores and Petrol’s, Oils and Lubricants across the nation.

**About the role**:
Our Rescue & Fire Fighting (RFF) services currently extend from stations in WA, SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. Due to the evolving nature of this contract, we are currently employing a Fire-Fighter in our Urban / Aviation Fire and Rescue operations at Albatross.

The successful Fire-Fighter will respond to incidents as required and perform duties as directed by the Station Officer and Leading Fire-Fighter.

All positions will require the successful applicants to work an average 38 hour week on an early / late roster cycle, Monday to Thursday between the hours of 0700 - 2359hrs and Friday between the hours of 0700 - 1500hrs. excluding public holidays.

**Duration of Shifts are as follows**:
Early Shift - Monday to Friday 0700 - 1500hrs
Late Shift - Monday to Thursday 1500 - 2359hrs

You will be asked to supply evidence of the following during the recruitment process;

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- PUA20613 Certificate II in Public Safety (Fire-fighting and Emergency Operations)
- PUA30613 Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire-fighting and Emergency Operation)

**Note: Ventia require specific units from within the Certificate levels including the following Public Safety Aviation Units**:

- PUAFIR305B Respond to Aviation Incidents (General) and
- PUAFIR205B Respond to Aviation Incidents (Specialist)
- Driver’s licence (HR)
- HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid
- HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation
- Proof of Australian Citizenship
