The SecOps team is part of the cybersecurity branch, which manages the IDAM and Active Directory/Azure ecosystem for all identities in the Department of Education (DoE).

They provide BAU support to ensure foundational services are maintained, secure and performant, also support ongoing Cyber Uplift delivery and adapting to Zero trust architectures and cloud solutions while enhancing the existing technology stack.

The Manager, SecOps oversees a solution specialist team that implements, configures, and supports software solutions, traditional on premises and cloud.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Industry certification in relevant technologies or equivalent industry experience.
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Substantial experience in managing the configuration and implementation of software solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of software solutions engineers.

They should work independently and demonstrate highly proactive work practices, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders in a large and dynamic organisation.
