In this role, you will provide support to the client to assist in the management of day to day activities, enabling independent living and helping the client reach their health and lifestyle goals.

Client Description: MALE in a wheelchair, non-ambulant. No intellectual disabilities. No pets in the home. No smoking in the home.

BUDDY SHIFTS AND FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

**Duties and Responsibilities Include**:

- Undertaking of domestic work, including but not limited to cleaning, washing, transportation and meal preparation.
- Assistance with daily tasks such as running errands and assistance with shopping and community access.
- Personal care assistance when required.
- Social support i.e. watching tv with client, sporting activities (bowls)
- Manual Handling involving wheelchairs.
- Use of lifter may be required.
- Must enjoy walking short distances i.e. to doctor appointments.
- Must be willing to travel in clients car with the client driving. Also assist with car hoist and manual wheelchair.

**Salary**: From $37.91 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
