Qualified Greenkeeper

Joondalup Resort is seeking a qualified greenkeeper to join our team.

Joondalup Resort is a complete leisure, corporate and tourism venue in the northern suburbs of Perth, with award-winning facilities both on and off the golf course.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Help promote player satisfaction through quality maintenance and communication
- Thoroughly assist in all safety training needs and procedures
- Work with the superintendent and other maintenance team staff to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and safety programs
- General green keeping duties as instructed by course superintendent including all aspects of mowing, bunker raking and renovations, hand watering
- Planting of trees, mulching, tree removal, gardening
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery, including mowing equipment
- Assist with set up of golf course for completion of competition rounds and general play
- Pest/disease identification and control
- Irrigation system maintenance management
- Course renovations and maintenance including coring, Vert mowing, sanding, sand divots, mix sand, turfing areas

**Position specifications**:

- Knowledge of Operational Health and Safety practices
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Valid drivers licence
- Experience and knowledge of golf course operations
- First aid and Cardiopulmanory resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Experience with driving tractor or mowing equipment

**Salary**: From $57,000.00 per year
