Baker Bleu is looking for a part-time barista with some experience on their shoulders to help showcase our new coffee offering which complements our beautiful sourdough pastry and bread.
As our barista you will:

- create and produce a tight list of high-quality beverages, consistently, using new La Marzocco equipment (pour setup includes 2 group Linea PB, Puqpress, Mahlkonig EK grinder and a Wally Milk)
- be responsible for general barista operations
- open and close the coffee machine, following appropriate cleaning and maintenance procedures
- build and encourage the conversation around coffee with our customers and fellow Baker Bleu team members.
- happily assist with service of bread and pastry products (having a keen interest in sourdough bread and pastry is a bonus)
- continue to participate in training with our supplier Market Lane and pass this knowledge and participate in training with our broader FOH team

We are looking for someone who:

- can work independently on the coffee machine and problem solve/ trouble shoot any general machinery/ espresso situations.
- has had at least 1 year of coffee making consistently.
- has a great attitude towards early morning starts.
- can work a part-time roster, 25-30 hours per week, including Sunday (Saturdays are not necessary)
- a strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude.
- wants to grow within an expanding business.
