Mc Drivers

A modern and progressive national transport provider, Hi-Trans Express is currently seeking experienced and safety focused MC (Multi Combination) truck drivers, based at our Adelaide Operations Depot located in Gillman, SA.

The primary focus of these roles is the safe, compliant and reliable transportation of our customer's palletised freight utilising our company owned equipment. **Qualification & Experience**
- Current MC Driver Licence
- Minimum of 2 years of current MC driving experience (including driving at night)
- Demonstrate a good driving record and on-road behaviours
- BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) Accreditation will be highly regarded
- Dangerous Goods Accreditation will be highly regarded
- High commitment to ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others

**Current MC Driver Opportunities**:

- Changeover linehaul runs (start and return to base at our SA depot, Monday to Friday)
- Interstate linehaul runs
- Local intrastate shorthaul runs

**Salary Guide**:

- **$80-100k **estimated annual earnings
- **Weekly pay cycle **with competitive **above EBA rates **(km based for linehaul runs)
- Some weekend and overtime work may be available, particularly in peak times with **attractive penalty rates**

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Perform routine pre-start equipment safety and maintenance inspections
- Successful, safe and compliant collection and delivery of goods from internal and external customers
- Coupling, uncoupling and operating company equipment; mainly B-Double Trailer Combinations
- Compliance with all company policies, standard work practices and safe work instructions
- Compliance with all obligations including fatigue management, load restraint, dangerous goods and chain responsibility policies and regulations
- Compliance with operational site procedures for traffic management and emergency response protocols
- Utilisation of technology and administration tasks for safety, compliance and customer service (including in-cab systems)
- Effective and respectful communication with supervisors, co-workers, customers and site visitors
- Commitment to ensuring the safety of our workplace, workers and members of the public at all times

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
