**Role Summary**:
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Gas Generation team based at our Pinjar Power Station on a full-time permanent basis. As an Electrical Technical Officer, you will have the opportunity to work within a multi-disciplined and highly capable technical team whose main priority is to carry out technical, commercial, and supervisory activities associated with the operations and maintenance of gas turbine power generating plant owned and operated by Synergy.

Pinjar Power Station is located to the North of the Perth metropolitan area with some travel required to support our regional operations across the Western Australian region.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Work closely with the Safety and Health team to provide input into all facets of Safety management.
- Plan, supervise / coordinate or carry out activities, associated with the operation and maintenance / repair of equipment and systems.
- Carry out technical inspection and prepare reports with recommendations and actions
Manage maintenance outage projects in accordance with budget and time targets whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare, assess, and coordinate designs, calculations, estimates, specifications, drawings and schedules for plant operations and maintenance.
- Develop method sheets for major plant.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Advanced TAFE certificate or a TAFE diploma in relevant discipline.
- Electrical trade certificate / Electrical License is essential.
- Relevant industry experience in Gas Turbine Operation and Maintenance.
- Inspection/testing practices instrumentation and control systems
- High voltage experience or background in Control systems desirable
- Supervisory or front-line leadership experience desirable
