**About the role
Reporting to the Transport Strategy & Design Manger, you will be joining a high performing team of three analysts to provide support and analysis to guide transport network design, strategy and optimisation to drive transport development and a sustainable competitive advantage. Engaging both internal supply chain stakeholders as well as our 3PL partners and carriers you will drive discovery, conduct analysis and develop innovative and commercially viable transport network solutions to articulate back to the business.

**Key objectives
- Provide recommendations on way to reduce network costs
- Develop solutions to assist with achieving Primary Connect strategy
- Create transport modelling that accurately represents current and alternative options
- Deliver business cases that are accurate, well documented and clearly presented
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gain required information to build transport solutions
- Provide data analysis to assist in tender preparation, carrier selection and network solution

**About you
You might have recently graduated from Supply Chain, Logistics Management or Business Administration or have equivalent experience in the field. You are energetic, self motivated and naturally inquisitive with hunger for information and drive to obtain it independently. Using data and your highly analytical thinking, you gain granular insights into problems that you solve with creativity and resourcefulness. Being an excellent communicator, you have the ability to make the complex simple for a wide variety of stakeholders from different backgrounds. You gain trust and influence through building strong relationships with your business partners and continuously strive to elevate the profile of your team within the business.

**Competencies and Experience
- Quantitative business modelling / operational modelling
- Commercial modelling
- Transport commercial analysis
- Advanced MS Excel
- Supply Chain / Transport Modelling Software knowledge advantageous
- Retail transport operations experience highly regarded
