Their team in West Perth are well established, friendly, fun and approachable and their staff turnover is low, with several members of staff being around for more than 10 years, some even 30+ years. They believe that pulling together as a team is key to success and they have regular team building exercises that allow them to have fun and work together as a team. THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Bookkeeper your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Weekly bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Payroll management including potential indirect taxes (eg payroll tax) reporting
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of BAS & IAS - monthly & quarterly
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
- Assist in processing of year-end adjustments
- Assisting the Accountants as and when required
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
- Ideally experience working in an Australian public practice firm or have dealt with multiple clients
- Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
- High level of written and verbal communication essential
- Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm
- Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
