**Description**:
As a Regional Manager you will lead a team of Environmental Assessment Consultants and Town Planners across NSW, ACT, Qld and Vic. Supporting the General Manager, you will be one of two Regional Managers responsible for directing and managing operational activities, resourcing, people management and overall strategy of the region. You will use your knowledge and experience to plan and resource field work, directing in-house field teams, analyse performance data, assist to implement the planning strategy, prepare, and review reports, and provide advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
Directing operational activities of the Planning team and assisting with the implementation of overall organisational and Heritage strategy.
Leading, motivating, and mentoring team members through Planning meetings and monthly one-on-ones.
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
Successful business relationship development, assisting the GM in creating a pipeline of forward work.
Contributing your technical expertise to project delivery (if relevant).
Overseeing the successful delivery of the technical components of the planning service line projects.
Manage resourcing and team billability, identify training needs, undertake performance evaluation, and build effective team dynamics.
Producing proposals and contributing to bid related activities in collaboration with the Bids team.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly feedback/reports to the GM, as required.
Work with other internal NGH functions such as Bid Team, Project Managers, and other regional managers.

Tertiary education in environmental field advantageous but not essential.
Effective and experienced manager with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Knowledge and understanding of environmental assessment processes.
Knowledge of relevant legislation.
Strong business and commercial acumen.
Excellent communicator with the ability to foster and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external to the business.
Excellent project and change management experience.
Thrive in a busy environment and deadline driven.
