- Job Responsibilities:

- Reading and understanding drawings;
- Pricing of estimates and cost plans;
- Completion of full trade and elemental take-off;
- Measuring quantities for variations;
- Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site;
- Prepare cash flows;
- Amend, update and reconcile Cost Reports;
- Writing of monthly reports;
- Managing client relations;
- Ability to meet with liaise with clients and other professional consultants;
- Providing accurate cost advice to clients;
- Undertake cost analysis;
- Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
- Ability to maximize the use of appropriate software and technology e.g. MS Office; Buildsoft and Cost X
- Job Requirements:

Knowledge / expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying;
- 1 - 3 year’s Quantity Surveying experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Membership or working towards membership in an approved Professional Body (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB);
- Knowledge of the construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
- Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written;
- Ability to work in a team and independently;
- Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning and organisation.
- Knowledge in CostX estimating software and BIM are preferable
- Class “C” driving license and local driving experience
