**ABILITIES UNLIMITED AUSTRALIA - SPORTS INSTRUCTOR**

Abilities Unlimited Australia (AUA) is a not-for-profit organisation supporting children with diverse abilities to develop their capability, capacity and confidence to participate in active recreation and community sport.

AUA is seeking dedicated Instructors to deliver our unique programs on weekends during school terms and over the school holidays.

As an AUA Instructor, you will provide instruction and support to children and their families within our programs. You will get to work in part of an amazing team committed to the goals and mission of AUA which actively fosters community participation and involvement.

The responsibilities on an AUA Instructor include:
Teaching and instructing participants across our amazing suite of programs:
Cyclabilities (cycling),

Waterabilities (swimming),

Dancabilities (fundamental movement and dance),

Teamabilities (fundamental team skills and social interaction skills),

Shredabilities (Skateboarding),

and Defendabilities (introduction to self-defence)

in line with the AUA values ensuring the safety of participants at all times.

Provide a safe and secure learning and training environment for all participants, and families.

Attend training sessions as set out by the Program Manager as well as any other training required by the AUA Board.

Embrace the concept of team and demonstrate a respect for the value of professionals working towards the attainment of a shared vision.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends only
