We are looking for Bakery Assistants who are enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard working to join our great team in Browns Plains.

Both Juniors and Seniors are welcome to apply

To be successful in this role you must have work experience in hospitality e.g. Cafes and Food Retail. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our bakery into a favourite local spot.

As a Bakery Assistant, you will be receiving ongoing development and training, and the opportunity to work as part of a big team in a busy, fun and supportive environment.

Your key roles and responsibilities will include:

- Assist day-to-day operations of the bakery
- Providing excellent customer service
- Merchandising the bakery and café products
- Provide training to new employees on drinks preparation and proper use of the store equipment if required
- Ensure a high standard of café presentation and store’s cleanliness
- Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed

**Requirements**:

- Hospitality experiences including customer services and making coffee are essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

We are a group of bakeries, and we own several stores in Brisbane area. We love making great tasting, quality and fresh out of the oven cakes that make our customer happy. Our people are also passionate about creating a professional, dynamic and friendly teamwork environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
