We are looking for a Back of House Training Coordinator to be a part of a dynamic People and Culture team to support our company’s growth.

We are seeking an BOH Training Coordinator who has a passion for leadership, consistency, teamwork and producing great quality food fellow team members while performing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and supporting training and development..
**The Opportunity**
The BOH Training Coordinator oversees BOH operational and team member training. This role is responsible for on-the-job training and seminars. The BOH trainer has the responsibility of kitchen and back of house operations in allocated restaurants within the group.
The role requires adherence to Sporting Globes Brand Standards and optimise profits through the effective implementation and management of systems, controls, policies, and SOP’s relating to kitchen operations.
**Key Duties**
- Oversee onboarding of BOH team member training and development, including brand standards, recipe compliance, OH&S, food safety, systems, SOPs, compliance, etc.
- Recruitment and training of BOH Team Members using the procedures according to Sporting Globes guidelines.
- Manage the Sporting Globes 'Supervisor in Training Program for BOH teams
- Manage the Sporting Globes 'Manager in Training Program for BOH teams
- Ensure development of BOH leadership teams through onboarding; Training plans
- Supports HC and VMs in establishing, developing, and maintaining a rich pipeline of future BOH leaders in each restaurant to ensure adequate staffing and capability in all restaurants.
- Ensure the requirements of the training calendar are met.
- Supports recruitment, training, and assessment of all new BOH management and employees, including for New Venue Openings (NVO).

**To be successful, you will have**:
- Demonstrated experience as a Training Manager, Head Chef or Sous Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or pub environment.
- Energetic attitude, a team player approach and a strong work ethic
- Experience and understanding of financial controls of a hospitality business
- The ability to lead, train and develop a team.
- Passion for providing exceptional quality food to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Commitment to upholding our brand standards, OH&S and food hygiene procedures.
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is required.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
