**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Manager Commercial, this is a pivotal role within the Business Performance & Contracts team based at our Brooklyn Depot. As the Commercial Analyst you will be responsible for performing financial management functions to ensure efficient delivery of programs of work in Service Delivery aligned with Melbourne Water policies and sound accounting practices. The role will also ensure Melbourne Water meets commercial obligations defined within contracts managed by the team and aligned with accounting best practices.

Your excellent attention to detail and proven ability in stakeholder engagement will see you succeed within this dynamic role.

**About you**:

- Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to engage others and develop and maintain positive and effective relationships.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills and experience.
- An ability to be able to think laterally and innovatively to identify improvements with a willingness to challenge current way of doing things (transformation mindset) and openness to building on other people’s ideas.
- Tertiary degree in Finance, Commerce, Management or Accounting
- Criminal Records Check
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
