**HammondCare Woy Woy is currently hiring for a handful of Casual Carers to join our team. See what a day in the life of a Residential team member looks like here**:
With our unique model of care which places the residents needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. The care you will provide will be person-centred, and relationship focused, with the understanding that no person is the same.

Some of the on-shift duties you will take on include:

- Personal care - showering, grooming, toileting etc
- Provide life engagement and interaction with other staff and families
- Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & enjoy engaging with every resident we care for
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including Mornings, evenings & weekends
- Value teamwork, autonomy and sharing knowledge
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
- Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care, or be studying towards a healthcare related degree would be viewed favourably
