**_ _**About Tweed Valley Hospital Emergency Department**
**_ _**TVH Emergency Department is fully accredited (36 month) for TS4 with rotations in Anaesthetics (6 months), ICU and Paediatrics. Special Skills posts in Education (6 months) and US (3 months).
We provide an excellent fellowship program with 3 Buchannan Prize winners in 6 years.
**About Tweed Valley Hospital**
**This is an exciting opportunity to join **Tweed Valley Hospital**, your primary work location and a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region, also including **Murwillumbah District** & **Byron Central** Hospitals. The 723.3 million state-of-the-art hospital opened on 14 May 2024 and will deliver additional health services and bed capacity to meet the growing community's healthcare needs.
Tweed Valley Hospital has:
- currently 280 beds with capability to expand to 430 beds
- expansive outpatient facilities with opportunity to increase available clinics
- a developing interventional cardiology service
- a fully capable emergency department with 42 treatment spaces
- an integrated cancer care service with radiotherapy
- 12 operating theatres
- a dedicated Learning, Development & Research centre located on campus, with modern library facilities
- End of trip facilities (showers etc) and free staff parking
