**About the role** We are seeking female disability support workers who are self-motivated to provide exceptional support to individuals living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation and in private homes.

You will have the opportunity to actively support clients in developing essential skills, cooking, assisting with personal care and social support. The shifts are flexible, regular and consistent, with a variety of AM, PM and inactive sleepovers to suit your lifestyle.

AM: 8am - 4.30pm

PM: 4.30pm - 10.30pm or 7.30pm - 10.30pm

**Your key responsibilities** Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate female Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Enteral peg feeding
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance

**About You**

Ideally, you will have:

- Certificate III in Disability/Community Services or similar
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with participants with PEG feeding and manual handling supports
- Aged care experience an advantage
- Previous disability experience
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current driver licence and own vehicle
- Manual Handling certificate (desirable)
- PEG training certificate (desirable)

We are also looking for someone with excellent communication skills, builds rapport quickly, actively engages with clients, has a caring and supportive nature, and who takes a client-centred approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $84.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
