Reporting to the Mine Asset Manager, you will lead the Site Services team in delivering the maintenance plans and projects to Boddington’s site infrastructure including the 2301-person village, site offices, water treatment facilities and other non-operational areas. Together with key onsite Business Partners you will ensure compliance with all safety, environment, community, business, and commercial aspects. Based on site at Boddington, the roster will be 4:3 5/2 (4 days on, 3 days off, 5 days on, 2 days off).

Skills, Knowledge& Experience
- Previous management or senior leadership experience in a large mining operation with a diverse range of site infrastructure.
- Ability to multitask and operate in a focused and effective manner within a high intensity environment for extended time frames.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, involve and gain the cooperation and consensus of a diverse group to ensure short term operational objectives are achieved.
- Advanced PC skills and digital literacy including experience with the ERP software packages, reporting tools and Management System tools.
- An understanding of work management processes.

Accountabilities will include
- Maintenance leadership and support of maintenance projects for site facilities and surface infrastructure on the NBG leases.
- Accountability for the quality of work output from the department through monitoring and auditing.
- Support maintenance strategies to ensure optimum equipment performance and cost.
- Support Planning and Engineering in the delivery of detailed maintenance schedules and allocation of resources so work is completed in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
- Provide input into the long-term planning process for infrastructure assets including capital projects within area of responsibility.
- Develop maintenance site standards where Global Standards are not available or practical.
- Complete and review incident investigations to ensure all causes have been identified to ensure controls can be implemented to reduce the level of risk.
- Training and development and performance management of team and maintaining required training compliances.
- Ensure Pre-Start meetings are run daily, and they are effective and promote a proactive approach and commitment to improving safety behaviours/culture.
- Demonstrate personal dedication in regard to Safety, and Environmental and Social Responsibility practices
- Develop and drive safety initiatives to all levels of work force to ensure the safety of yourself, Maintenance and Mining operations workforce.
- Develop and review critical task list and lead development of JHA’s and STP’s in site services department.
- Ensure required documentation is acquired from business partners including but not limited to, procedures, certificates of competency, licenses, permits, certificates of calibration or testing, (MSDS), CHEMALERT system compliance.
- Ensure business partners complete required general& work area inductions associated with their scope of contracted work.
- Conduct regular monitoring, assessment and review of business partner performance in the field and maintain relevant records.
- Participate and assist with Quality Audits and implement amendments to Quality Assurance documents as per any corrective action requests and initiate and address corrective actions as appropriate.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Quality Assurance procedures.
- Ensure that all tasks that can affect quality have been detailed in work instructions and all equipment used is calibrated.
