Shuttle Driver

**About Us**:
Johnny H and Johnny's Place is a family-owned and operated business offering programs to young adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. including a wide variety of social activities, day excursions, and short trips across Australia and overseas.

**The Job**:
Johnny H is currently seeking an experienced Driver to join our team based out of our amazing purpose built centre, Johnny's Place in **Penrith NSW.** This position is casual with the possibility of moving to part time, and will require availability for some split shifts and some on call shifts across 7 days.

Part of a tight knit, high performing team where you will be responsible for running the shuttle service to get clients to and from the Centre, and to community activities. Johnny H is different to other service providers, in that we only provide services to clients with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, which will enhance our clients with a greater personal and community engagement.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong communication skills with all Stakeholders
- High level of empathy
- Experience in a similar role - might have worked in school, disability or aged care
- Strong sense of community and engagement
- Desire to go above and beyond
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

**Experience**:

- shuttle or bus driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
