Vineyard Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable “hands on” Vineyard Supervisor to be part of our vineyard team. Reporting to the Ag Operations Manager, you will supervise operations on a day-to-day basis. The role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in viticulture and who are passionate about the wine industry.

Job Requirements
- Full time position, with formal training in horticulture or viticulture preferred but not essential
- Hands-on vineyard management role
- Ability to follow instructions from the Manager
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; pruning, spraying, canopy management, tractor operation, irrigation etc.
- Practical hands-on machinery maintenance
- Supervision of labour hire crews when required
- Safe, efficient operation of vineyard equipment
- Some record keeping and administrative tasks
- The ability to work within a team, and to work independently without supervision
- Ability to work extended hours for vintage operations
- Ability to work flexible hours as required due to weather conditions (ie: spraying)
- A desire to show ownership in the position and general interest in the company

Skills and Attributes
- Chemical User Permit or willingness to complete
- Forklift license (desired)
- Current/valid Australian Driver’s License (exp. with manual vehicles)
