**About the role**

Reporting to our Warehouse and Production Manager and working alongside our Butchers, this role plays a critical part in our production facility.

The general responsibilities of the role include:

- Preparing and handling food, with a dedicated focus on quality and OH&S
- Inspecting all incoming produce and materials for quality
- Assisting our Butchers with various production tasks
- Packaging produce using the correct materials to ensure safe delivery
- Working closely with the production team to ensure every product meets the superior quality standard that Hagen’s is known for
- Assisting to accurately and efficiently pick and pack Hagen’s online and store orders
- Labelling orders for storage or shipment
- Performing regular stocktaking activities, as required
- Following all OH&S procedures and asking questions if ever unsure about the correct way to do something
- Escalating any OH&S issues that are identified
