**THE ROLE**

This position is part of the Kinship Model in South Division and will support the Divisional Kinship Engagement Coordinator and Kinship Engagement Manager as they lead and drive the implementation and ongoing operation of the model of kinship care in Victoria. In this position, under the direction of the Kinship Engagement Coordinator you will provide guidance, support and information to internal and external stakeholders regarding Kinship Brokerage, assisting to embed the Kinship model in the division. You will support the administration of the flexible brokerage, assist in promoting placement quality and stability by being a key contact point for Child Protection Practitioners and Contracted Case Managers, and provide flexible kinship support. The position works closely with Child Protection, Care services, Kinship Engagement Teams, to support best outcomes for children in statutory Kinship care.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide advice and professional expertise to key internal and external stakeholders in areas of responsibility including critical tasks, policy advice, funding, and program development.
- Assist in administering the kinship placement support brokerage as directed by the Kinship Engagement Coordinator and / or Manager.
- Support the work of the Kinship Engagement Coordinator and / or Manager as they lead and drive the implementation and ongoing operation of the model.
