We're looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Trade Assistant in Gatton. In this role, you'll support our tradesmen and help them with various trade-related tasks. You'll be responsible for keeping the trade area running smoothly and ensuring everyone's safety. We need someone with a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help tradesmen with their daily tasks, like getting materials, tools, and equipment ready for projects.
- Assist experienced tradesmen with basic trade-related tasks.
- Set up and clean up work areas, making sure tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Keep the trade area clean and tidy, and clean tools and equipment after use.
- Follow safety protocols to make sure everyone stays safe while working.
- Do general maintenance and repair work when needed.
- Help load and unload materials and equipment as necessary.
- Support in organizing and keeping track of trade supplies.
- Communicate well with the team to keep work flowing smoothly and tasks completed efficiently.
- Take part in training programs to improve trade-related skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:
Preferably have previous experience as a trade assistant or in a similar role.

Good knowledge of trade-related tools, equipment, and materials.

Basic understanding of trade principles and techniques.

Able to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and do manual labor.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Strong commitment to workplace safety.
