As part of this vibrant youth mental health service based at headspace Lilydale, EACH is looking for a part-time **(0.8FTE) Intake and Brief Intervention Clinician **to make a huge difference to the lives of young people in the Outer East. This position will work as part of the headspace Lilydale Team and partnering agencies with the focus for this role on clients for AOD use, providing information and treatment for AOD misuse.

The Intake and Brief Intervention Worker position is a crucial role within the headspace services, and will be required to undertake a number of activities including but not limited to engaging, screening and providing limited brief interventions and single session therapy for young people (12-25yrs), and their families and carers.

**Qualifications**:
You will be required to identify and provide assertive outreach to young people and complete comprehensive screening assessment, coordinate supported referrals and provide brief intervention and single session therapies. You may also assist in the development and delivery of therapeutic groups.

Where possible, you will work within the Family Inclusive Framework, conducting intake assessments with young people and their families and completing Mental State Examinations and comprehensive risk assessments.

You will be required to complete a Criminal History Check and Employee Working With Children Check, and will need a Victorian Drivers License.

**Who you’ll be working with**
The Intake and Brief Intervention Worker position will be primarily based at the Lilydale headspace centre but will work also work with the headspace Knox Team (at the main site). Our team is an energetic & supportive Intake team, and we work together with the broader headspace team who are dedicated to giving clients the best possible support possible.
