Swimming Pool Technician

A fantastic opportunity exists for an on-site pool technician to join our Clark rubber Jandakot award winning team. Whilst this role will be predominantly based in field, some retail in store shifts will be required and on site quoting for customer jobs.

Clark rubber offer additional training for this position both online and in field, so for those of you whom only have basic on site pool servicing experience and need further training for equipment installation, this will be provided and is ok.
- Be able to work without supervision on site but also as a team player
- Have excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken English
- be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers

- Be driven to succeed and meet goals, targets (bonus incentives)

Key responsibilities:

- General pool maintenance including water testing and balancing and cleaning
- Routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of swimming pool equipment
- Installation of pool pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners
- Sales and customer service
- quotes and follow ups on quoted jobs (execution)
- Invoicing, computer skills and communication to management.
- Current drivers license
- Some retail experience a bonus but not essential
- Great customer service skills
- Motivated to sell, grow and learn.
- Enjoy and capable of working alone and outdoors
- Understanding of the role and experience in this field ( at least 12 months in field or with less very capable ( minimum 6 months)
- Able to work 9-5 during the week and Saturdays.
- Must have had a drivers license for more then 2 years.
- Good with calculations for invoicing and measuring.
- Ability to maintain a clean van, good understanding of stock control and responsibility of looking after the company's assets (car an equipment).

An hourly rate will be discussed based on experience and capability starting from $30/hr.

This role has inbuilt bonus structures also for equipment sales and installations and penalty rates for Saturday shifts.
